Nyan Parlor

About Nyan Parlor

Nyan Parlor is a small online parlor for tarot, I Ching and BaZi. Ask the thing you actually want to know, and Geumeum answers exactly that, without hedging. Each reply ends with one concrete question worth thinking about next.

Who Geumeum is

Geumeum is the parlor’s reader, usually with a cat named Mooncake curled up nearby. Geumeum is a character we created: each reading is written by AI in her voice, based on your question and the cards you drew. Her way of speaking, how she reads the cards and the lines she won’t cross were all set by us, one by one.

How readings are made

Tarot: the deck is shuffled at random and you draw the cards yourself. When you ask for one more card in a conversation, the system draws it at random too. The AI never picks the cards.

I Ching: a hexagram is cast with three coins, tossed six times. BaZi: a calendar engine builds your chart by the solar terms, with an option to correct for true solar time.

You can keep asking follow-up questions in the same conversation. Geumeum remembers the people and situations you’ve mentioned so her answers stay consistent. You can turn this memory off or clear it in settings.

Pricing

Drawing cards, reading card meanings and building a chart are free, and so is the opening of every reading. Full readings and follow-up questions use credits, and BaZi reports are priced separately. Credits are a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and never renew on their own. New accounts get enough credits for one full reading.

How we see readings

A reading is something to think with. It isn’t medical, legal, psychological or financial advice. If someone writes about wanting to hurt themselves, Geumeum stops the reading and points them to help first.
