Why not let the AI do it alone?
When a chatbot "draws" a card on its own, it picks one from memory, and it tends to pick familiar, pleasant cards. The tool draws from a full 78-card deck with a cryptographic random number generator.
BaZi charts are easy to get wrong by hand: the year changes at the Start of Spring, months change at solar terms, and birth times need the historical time zone and daylight saving rules. The tool computes all of that.
Card meanings and hexagram texts come from the same pages published on tarotoper.com, so the reading rests on a fixed reference instead of whatever the model recalls.
Your AI with these tools vs. asking Geumeum
The tools give your AI real cards and correct charts, but the reading itself is written by your AI, in its own voice. It is not Geumeum, and it does not remember you. Below, the same question and the same three cards, answered both ways (real outputs, shortened).

When you come back: does it remember?
Later the same day, the same person asked about him again. A new chat with your AI starts from zero. Geumeum picks up where you left off (real output, shortened).

It reads the new cards as if this were the first time: it does not know what you asked earlier, what the cards said then, or who “he” is, so you explain everything again.

What Geumeum remembers, and how you control it
- What you asked before, the people in your story (him, an ex, a friend), what the cards said, and what you told her you planned to do.
- You can turn memory off in your settings, or delete a single reading. Deleting a reading also removes what was remembered from it, and it is erased from our database within 30 days.
How to connect
Claude (desktop or web)
- Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste https://www.tarotoper.com/mcp and save.
- Start a new chat and ask for a reading.
ChatGPT
- The Nyan Parlor plugin for the ChatGPT plugin directory is under preparation.
- Until then, on ChatGPT web with Developer mode turned on (available on paid plans), add a custom connector with the server address above.

What is stored
The tools do not save your questions or birth details. Our host keeps standard request logs. Links in the results carry a source tag so we can count visits that come from AI tools.

Is it free?
Yes. The tools are free to use and need no account or API key. Each IP address can make up to 60 requests a minute.
How is this different from asking Geumeum on tarotoper.com?
With the tools, your own AI does the reading using our cards and charts. On tarotoper.com, the reader Geumeum answers your question herself, picks the spread for it, and remembers past readings when you come back.
Which languages does it support?
The tools return English or Japanese. Your AI can still answer in your language.
Is the draw really random?
Yes. Cards and coins come from a cryptographic random number generator on our server, not from the AI model.
